Leeds Mencap

I have been working with Leeds Mencap since April 2020, covering all aspects of Comms, Marketing, PR, and Fundraising. I have been part of a small team (3 people) to develop a new website, including writing new copy, sourcing images, working on the design, creating news stories and creative content (https://www.leedsmencap.org.uk/).

Working with a film maker, I have produced nine short films which make up a new campaign called Imagine if… For this, I set up and coordinated interviews, designed campaign branding, worked with the videographer to edit to ensure all the key messages and supporting information was portrayed in the nine films, each with a different focus and target audience.

I worked on a new initiative for businesses in Leeds, which included a PR toolkit for businesses, I have written tailored press releases for each business, these scheme has gained press coverage.
